"alright…where to start… i have terminal testicular cancer. well, okay, not really… HOWEVER, i need, want, must have these tickets because i'm leaving california to study abroad in england (for nine months) on the 10th of september. needless to say my decision to leave was only complicated by the fact that my girlfriend of two years will be staying here in the states, without me. now where does ozma come into this? i first saw them open for weezer at a concert in san diego and was instantly hooked. a friend of a friend knows the bassist and hooked me up with their cds and some unreleased material, and my girlfriend and i have been hooked ever since. the song 'battle scars' has become a personal anthem for the way i am, and their music cd has become something special for both of us as i've been known to play it without end on roadtrips. i wasn't cool enough to score tickets to coldplay (her personal fav band) because they're popular and all, so these two ozma tickets would really be a gift for both of us when we spend our last couple days together. thanks."
