Foo Fighters have revealed more details about their upcoming, but still-untitled seventh album. The record is due out April 12, 2011 and is the first from the band since 2007's Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace. The album reunited frontman Dave Grohl will produced Butch Vig who previously worked with the then drummer on Nirvana's Nevermind. It also reunites Grohl with Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic - who contributes bass and accordion to "I Should Have Known," - and The Germs/Nirvana guitarist Pat Smear who is a full-time member of the Foos.
In the summer, the band will head to the UK for a series of shows supported by Biffy Clyro, Jimmy Eat World and Death Cab for Cutie.
