Before they write and record a new studio album, Alkaline Trio will be releasing a new collection of their favorite catalog tracks re-recorded and "re-imagined." The band will dig into their catalog, which includes Goddamnit, Maybe I'll Catch Fire, From Here To Infirmary, Good Mourning, Crimson, Agony & Irony and This Addiction to select songs for the collection. The band has not mentioned if any of the songs from standalone EPs like I Lied My Face Off or For Your Lungs Only will appear.

The band will be re-recording the reinterpreted songs with the accompaniment of a variety of instruments at Hurley Studios in Costa Mesa, California. The band is set to enter the studio before the end of February. On that note, here is the video for "Stupid Kid."
