Pitchfork is reporting that the new album from Fucked Up, David Comes To Life, is slated for a June 7, 2011 release via Matador Records. According to the report, the LP is a rock opera set in a fictional British town during the Margaret Thatcher administration, and follows the titular David as he falls in love with an activist who dies in an unnamed accident, resulting in a trial where things get more convoluted from there. You can read Pitchfork's recent interview with Damian "Pink Eyes" Abraham about the concept here.
Once out, David Comes To Life will follow up the band's 2008 effort The Chemistry of Common Life.
