gbzoo writes that Denver, Colorado's Point Five Limey Records has announced their upcoming six band split compilation "Broadcast International." The bands involved include A Perfect Kiss (USA), Alien 101 (Germany), To What End (USA), May Sixteen (Germany), The K Word (USA), Maria Blonde (France). The release is slated for November of 2002.

pizz writes us that Chicago's Little League Records has been sued by Little League Baseball! They have been forced to change their name and are having a contest to rename the company. Winners will receive the entire LLR catalogue. The label is home to August Premier, 504 Plan, AfterProject and the newly signed Remember Maine.

Moldy writes that Undies Records, a new label based in Hawaii, is putting together their first compilation featuring a good size track list of unsigned bands. If you are in an unsigned band, or know of one and you want some promotion across the country as well as in Hawaii this is a good opportunity for you. The label is accepting music of all genres so long as the band is unsigned. The Undies Records site recently crashed, and they are working on a new layout, so there's no website at the moment. Roargh writes that the Blackbox Recordings Sampler, originally scheduled to release in September, has been delayed for a while due to several of the involved bands breaking up. New songs are currently being arranged and the updated track listing will be posted soon.

Anonymous writes us that Stillborn Records has signed California's The Program. The band will be entering SoundWave Studios with producer Zack Ohren (The Ghost, Animosity) this October to record. Their Stillborn debut, an EP entitled "Artificial Unintelligence," should hit streets in January of 2003.
