Merge Records has announced plans to reissue all four Archers of Loaf full-lengths, with 1993's Icky Mettle up first and slated for an August 2, 2011 release. The reissue is remastered by Bob Weston and will come with new liner notes by Robert Christgau, as well as bonus material from the Icky Mettle era including b-sides and the entire Archers of Loaf vs. The Greatest of All Time EP. The band's other three albums (Vee Vee, All the Nation's Airports and White Trash Heroes) will be reissued in 2012.

Archers of Loaf is currently in the midst of a reunion tour of sorts, with fly-in dates sporadically scheduled through September.
