Topshelf Records hardcore/screamo outfit Pianos Become the Teeth will be entering Developing Nations Studio on August 1st with engineer Kevin Bernsten. This will be their follow-up record to Old Pride [reissue]. The band is currently in the pre-production stages and are planning for a fall 2011 release.

The band has described the new album as "a progression from Old Pride, it's a personal album for all of us in many different ways" and the lyrics as "emotional, reminiscent, cohesive, sad, bitter, and heavy hearted." Pianos has also promised more touring including Europe, full US, and an appearance at Fest 10 in support of the new album this fall.
