In a campaign to promote their Kronenbourg 1664 beer, Heineken used a lounge cover of the Dead Kennedy's ode to stupidity, "Too Drunk to F*ck." The campaign has been pulled from Spotify over concerns that it would encourage binge drinking, As a Guardian article reports, "Heineken's aim was to link the idea of "relaxed consumption" of beer with music that had been "uncharacteristically slowed down" from the original track."
The cover was previously used in Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's everything-spoitation film, Grindhouse, as the accompaniment to a character being raped. This led to very public condemnation by songwriter ' Jello Biafra.
