Wayne State University Press will be releasing an expanded edition of Brett Callwood's 2008 Stooges biography, The Stooges: Head On, a Journey Through the Michigan Underground. The book, which originally chronicled the band's rise in the 1960s to their demise in the 1970s, has now been revised to include an overview of Iggy Pop's solo career, the band's 2003 reunion and their 2007 comeback album The Weirdness, and the untimely death of guitarist of Ron Asheton in 2009. The book also features a foreword from Alice Cooper and an afterword from Glenn Danzig.
