A bit of news for those local to the Guelph area. There will be a show supporting CFRU 93.3, the University of Guelph's Campus/Community Radio Station this Monday October 21 at the Trasheteria in Guelph. The bands scheduled to play include Closet Monster, Dead Letter Dept, Off The Mark and Good Enuff. It's $6 and doors open at 7:30.

Underground Operations Recordings artists Closet Monster are headlining the show. The band has recently completed their debut music video which has just been added to rotation on Much Music and Much Music Loud. The video for the track "Mr. Holland vs. Acceptable Behaviour" off there latest release 'Killed The Radio Star' debut's this Friday and should be online soon, look for it.

The money is going to CFRU's Funding Drive. Money raised during the funding drive will be gong towards the upkeep of the station (keeping the eqipment in working order), as well as towards purchasing new equipment for stuff like remote broadcasts. A few shows of interest to Punknews readers would be The Shape of Punk To Come (tune in from 7-8pm EST on Fridays) as well as Skatterbrains (a ska show from 4-5pm EST Thursdays). You can listen over the internet at http://www.uoguelph.ca/~cfru.
