Influential hardcore outfit Give Up The Ghost (formerly American Nightmare) have announced plans to reissue both of their albums - Background Music and We're Down Til We're Underground - on vinyl. Each album is offered in a special gatefold jacket with revamped artwork and packaging. These records have also been remastered for vinyl by Paul Gold at Salt Mastering (Converge, Fucked Up), and will include MP3 download codes. Deathwish Inc. is handling the vinyl reissues.

In addition, the band has announced two reunion shows; the first in the band's native Boston and the second in Los Angeles. The shows are set to take place December 29th in Boston at Wonderland Ballroom and December 31st in Los Angeles at a location to be announced. These are the first Give Up The Ghost shows since their hiatus taken in 2004. The show's line-up will be Wes Eisold, Timothy Cossar, Joshua Holden, Brian Masek, and Alex Garcia-Rivera.
