Epitaph Records has announced their first signing of 2012, Los Angeles-based The Ghost Inside. The band formed in 2007 and released Fury And The Fallen Ones and Returner. The band is described as a "heavy melodic hardcore band" and are currently recording their yet untitled Epitaph debut with Jeremy Mckinnon (of A Day To Remember) producing. They commented on the signing:

Signing to Epitaph is a dream come true for me," singer Jonathan Vigil says. "The label is home to some of my all time favorite bands. Epitaph continues to be successful while maintaining the integrity of an independent label. I really look forward to the future of The Ghost Inside and Epitaph. There's honestly no other place I'd want to call home.

The band has booked a headlining tour.
