Epitaph Records has launched the Epitaph Charities Project. Visit the site here and vote for your choice. Read below for an explanation of what Mr. Brett has organized:

"What is the Epitaph Charities Project? It's an annual charitable donation that represents the values of both Epitaph and YOU, the ones who support the label. We've picked our ten favorite charitable organizations, and now we'd like you to tell us which ones are the most important to you by taking a few seconds to vote in our instant poll. We figure that we wouldn't have anything to give if it wasn't for all of you who go to the shows, buy the records and visit this site, and so you should decide where the need is greatest.

Here's how it works: You can vote for your favorite charity once each day until December 20th. On that day, we will take the top three (3) charities, divide $50,000 proportionally, and send a check to each organization on behalf of Epitaph and the kids. This isn't a CD that says "a portion of proceeds will go to fill-in-the-blank", and it's not a smokescreen for a marketing campaign. We're donating a sum of money, on our and your behalf, and we'd like you to decide where it goes. It's that simple."
