We Are The Union are currently in the studio working on the follow up to 2010's Great Leaps Forward. The group are working with Mark Michalik at Drasik Studios as well as Nick Diener of The Swellers in his home studio. Updates are frequently made via their Facebook and Twitter. Lead singer, Reed Wolcott, released the following statement:

We're in the studio now finishing up six songs to complete a new full length. We recorded a 7-song EP last spring, and decided after we finished that the songs were too strong to just be an EP… We went back to the drawing board and came up with six more tunes. These are the strongest songs we've written. We're coming at you with full force.

We Are The Union last released the Graveyard Grins EP last year on Paper and Plastick.
