us to tell us that Slowride has announced they will be retiring all the songs on their Deep Elm debut, As I Survive The Suicide Bomber. December 10, 2002 at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas will be the last time you can hear any of those songs live. Here is a statement from the band:
"On this night we will retire our current playlist and say goodbye to an era. january we start getting ready to record the next full length. hopefully out for the summer. so if you want to hear your favorite suicide songs be sure to come to this show. pause……i just had to extinguish my toaster as the tortillia it was toasting had caught fire and my house is filled with smoke now. on that note i say goodbye."
Slowride will also be releasing some more stuff on End Records in 2003 before their next album drops on Deep Elm.
