Brooklyn hardcore band Hiretsukan has broken up. Their last show was on November 9 at Dumba in NYC with Witch Hunt, Beer Garden and the Profits. The band recently released an EP titled "Invasive / Exotic" on Winnipeg's G7 Welcoming Committee Records. You can check out the song "Barrel Roll" from that EP. The G7 posted that:

Although they say it wasn't the $26 royalty cheque that put the final nail in the coffin, we have our doubts. Look kids, we're sorry! It was only 5 weeks of sales! But in all seriousness (?), this is a fucking tragedy, cuz they were better than Tragedy, and we're sad to see them go. We look forwarad (sic) to their reunion tour in 2012!"
