The organizers of Riot Fest-- set to expand to several new cities this year-- have announced that Riot Fest Philadelphia will not take place next weekend as originally scheduled. The following message was posted to the Riot Fest Facebook page:

Riot Fest East 2012, scheduled for Thursday, July 19 at Festival Pier in Philadelphia, PA has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We are truly sorry for those of you who were planning on coming out. This one hurts, but, a rescheduled show is in the works. More information about the new date will be made available soon.

Riot Fest expanded to Philadelphia last year, and had already shortened the originally proposed 3 day festival down to a single day.

The Brooklyn, Dallas, and Toronto Riot Fests are still a go as of this time.
