Jaz Coleman, vocalist of pioneering post-punk act Killing Joke has gone missing after posting a brief, negative statement about the cancellation of his band's appearance with The Cult. His bandmates were forced to cancel the tour as a result and said this:

We are all concerned about our missing singer's welfare. [We] made a collective decision to play with The Cult and The Mission in September. We would still like to honour our commitment to this tour, [but] ff this proves not possible, [we] will make alternative arrangements to compensate for the trouble caused. Meanwhile we are doing everything we can to make this tour happen and locate our missing singer.
