After relocating to Santa Barbara, California from Huntsville, Alabama and taking a brief hiatus, Curbside Service have changed the name of their band to The Snake The Cross The Crown. The band will be recording their debut EP under the new name in early 2003, with their progress updated on their new website. Despite the change in identity the band is still with Waste of Time Records. Judging from their website, The Snake The Cross The Crown is operating as an entirely different band than Curbside Service (who still have some material online if you follow the link). Other projects taking place at Waste of Time include a new a split EP featuring San Francisco's The Sidekicks and Short Round (which features Jason from The Chinkees).
