In a scene that makes the Muppets covering Nirvana seem positively edgy, popular teen show Glee has produced a cast version of Hole's "Celebrity Skin." The cover will appear on this week's episode of the show. If history is any judge, the cover will sell more on iTunes than the original and we'll all die a little inside.

The song comes from the 1998 album of the same name which was the first album the band recorded after the death of frontwoman Courtney Love's husband Kurt Cobain and previous Hole bassist Kristen Pfaf.

This track was written by Love, alongside Smashing Pumpkins singer, Billy Corgan and guitarist Eric Erlandson.
