Kevin Devine has detailed his plans for recording and releasing his next two records. He plans to release two records, one solo and one full band, in the fall of this year with the solo record being produced by Rob Scnapf and the full band record being produced by Jesse Lacey of Brand New.

In order to produce these records Kevin has started a Kickstarter account which has already exceeded the initial goal amount of $50,000. As of now the project has reached $65,292 in funds. Kevin announced via facebook that the Kickstarter would stay active until it's initial end date in order to raise as much money as possible. Kevin has also released a short video detailing his decision to make the move to Kickstarter as opposed to going the traditional route of having a label putting out the albums.
