Max Bemis of Say Anything has announced plans to release his first comic series through Boom! Studios. The series, titled Polarity, which features protagonist Timothy Woods suffering from a bi-polar disorder, but for whom medication is repressing his super-powers. The series kicks off on April and each issue will include a download code for an original song from Bemis. Boom! described the comic:

It's a dark comedy about a man with bi-polar disorder who develops super powers as he descends into his mania. Kind of like bi-polar Spiderman, but with more pop-culture references.

The book is shaped by Max's own struggles with bi-polar disorder, which surfaced during the recording of …Is A Real Boy in 2004.

Say Anything are set to release All My Friends Are Enemies: Early Rarities on January 22, 2013 via Equal Vision Records.
