Looks like Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day isn't done with musical theatre just yet; the songwriter has been tapped to write songs for a Yale Repertory Theater production of These Paper Bullets, a "rock-and-roll" adaptation of the William Shakespeare's famous comedy, Much Ado About Nothing. The script is from playwright Rolin Jones and Billie Joe will provide the music.

The show is expected to premiere in March 2014 and will be directed by Jackson Gay. The play is one of Shakespeare's most frequently adapted, with one of the most recent coming as a low-budget black-and-white film from director Joss Whedon and consisting of cast members from The Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly.
