The best unsigned band in America title is back up for grabs - Minneapolis 5-piece Motion City Soundtrack has signed on the dotted line with none other than Epitaph Records. While this has been rumored for some time, this is the first time it's been confirmed [Guitarist Josh just told me personally a few minutes ago]. The band's first release on the label will be a "refining" of their 2002 self-released effort "I Am The Movie," possibly containing more tracks.
The band is currently hitting the road during January and February with bands like Ultimate Fakebook and Allister, and look for a full US tour this March-May with some other as-yet-unconfirmed acts. Click READ MORE for the group's currently confirmed dates.
