us that The Virus will be celebrating their 5th Anniversary as a band on February 14th at the Pontiac Grill in Philadelphia. Former lead singer Mike Virus will be joining the band to perform some songs. Mike is currently singing for recent Punkcore signees Cheap Sex but was with The Virus for a Split CD, a 7" and their first full length. He left because he was unable to tour with the band and hasn't played with them in more than two years. The band recently recorded 4 songs for a 7" on French label Dirty Punk Records. Check their website soon for some MP3s of the new songs. Their DVD release will be postponed until later this year so they can add footage from this June's Holidays In The Sun festival and more.
