us that Sonny Vincent, who fronted the late 70s punk band The Testors, will release a new solo album titled "The Good, the Bad, the Ugly" on March 18th on Acetate Records. Vincent has enlisted an amazing list of musicians for the project. On all tracks the rhythm section is made up of former Stooges drummer Scott Asheton and bassist Captain Sensible of The Damned. More impressive is the nineteen different guitarists on the album, among them MC5's Wayne Kramer, the Heartbreakers' Walter Lure, Television's Richard Lloyd, Robert Quine from Richard Hell And The Voidoids, The Damned's Brian James, Thurston Moore and Jim O'Rourke from Sonic Youth, Black Flag's Greg Ginn, The True Believers' Javier Escovedo, Dexter Holland and Noodles of The Offspring and the Streetwalking Cheetahs' Frank Meyer.
In March the Vincent will tour the United States backed by none other than Rocket From the Crypt. The band will back Vincent for a set before playing their own.
