Q: What's your favorite pizza topping?A: Every once in a while you'll hear someone say "I don't really like pizza." That person is a dick. Pizza is like the greatest food ever made. Cheap. Hella varieties. All over the place. JUST TASTY AS HELL. Man, you cannot beat cheese with sauce with bread. It is like some Italian Scientist was researching what is the best possible food combination in the 1500's while Galileo was searching the stars. We ALL KNOW who made the better academic pursuit.
Anyways, I go with straight up cheese. I do like toppings, but sometimes I feel as though the toppings take away the actual pizza-ness of the pizza. Three simple chords make the best music and three simple ingredients make the best food. Peppers and Onions, Pepperoni, Sausage, and spinach pizza are all good.
These days people like to get all fancy with their pizzas like "grilled chicken, pineapple, and garlic aioli" or "plumb baby clams, azada garlic, and red roasted peppers." Man, THAT IS SOME BULLSHIT. You don't go pointdexterin in the prison yard, dig? If I see someone eating a fancy pizza like that, I straight up slap dat slice out of their mouth. I will get violent over this, so don't push me, bro.
