Over the weekend, Lagwagon posted a update to their Facebook Profile confirming that they've begun working on their first new material since I Think My Older Brother Used to Listen to Lagwagon in 2008 and their first full length since 2005's Resolve.

They said just this:

Writing, writing, writing. New album… It's gonna happen!

While Lagwagon has been relatively inactive over the past few years, frontman Joey Cape has been pretty busy with two solo albums - Bridge and Doesn't Play Well With Others - a second split acoustic release with the late Tony Sly titled Acoustic Volume 2. Joey and drummer Dave Raun also continued to record and perform with Me First and The Gimme Gimmes. Guitarist Chris Flippin has been recording with Versus the World too.
