The band was part of the original punk generation, having played the legendary 100 Club Punk Rock Festival in 1976 with the Sex Pistols, the Clash, the Buzzcocks, Siouxsie and the Banshees and the Vibrators. The band's show is on May 24 at The Lamplighters in Pocklington Walk, Leicester. Godard revived the Subway Sect moniker last year for his new record that featured a collaboration of musicians.
