This weekend Glenn Danzig posted a picture from his recording studio and revealed that he was working on an Elvis Presley covers EP. Danzig stated:

So strange how things happen - [been] working in studio all this week on "Danzig sings Elvis" EP & tonight is [the] anniversary of [the] day Elvis died

Several years ago, Danzig announced that he was working on a covers album, but it is unclear at this point if that project has been scrapped, reformed as the Elvis covers EP or is something else entirely. On 1993's Thrall-Demonsweat Live, Danzig previously recorded "Trouble," a song performed by Elvis in the film King Creole.
