Legendary Garage rockers The Sonics have announced a new album. On March 31, 2015, the band will release This is the Sonics via their own Revox Records. It will be their first album since the band originally broke up in 1967 and includes original members Jerry Roslie on keyboards and vocals, Larry Parypa on guitar and vocals and Rob Lind on sax, harmonica and vocals. Newer members bassist Freddie Dennis (the Kingsmen, the Liverpool Five) and drummer Dusty Watson (Dick Dale, Agent Orange) join the group.
The band has released a new single supporting the album called "Bad Betty" and will start a tour in April. You can click read more for the tune and tour dates.
