St. Catharines' Ontario's Alexisonfire have announced a reunion of sorts for 2015. The band will convene to play a number of festivals in North America and Europe.

The Canadian gigs include Heavy Montreal, Sonic Boom in Edmonton, X-Fest in Calgary, and Riot Fest in Toronto. Fans in the UK can catch the band as part of the massive Reading and Leeds Festivals. A U.S. date has not yet been announced but is expected.

Alexisonfire played the final show of their original run in 2012. Members of the group are everywhere these days, most visibly Dallas Green as the popular City and Colour (and his recent collaboration with Pink dubbed You + Me). Guitarist Wade MacNeil is fronting the UK's Gallows, frontman George Pettit plays in Hamilton, ON's Dead Tired and drummer Jordan Hastings plays with Say Yes.
