I saw a terrific article, by Courtney Love of all people over at Salon.com. I'm not exactly a fan of Courtney Love, as a person or as a musician, but this article definitely sums up the current mp3 craze, and why music companies are so afraid of it. It also works really well as an assault on major labels.
