"Come to Mary" is firmly rooted in the power-pop of late 70s Stiff Records. The band clearly has an affinity for Elvis Costello's sparse, catchy lines and on this track, they take that simplicity and rev it up with a little modern pop-punk. This tune is short, simple, and sweet.
