Steve writes "It is official, Long Island, NY ska band Edna's Goldfish have broken up. You can read the official statement on the band's homepage at http://www.ednasgoldfish.com. As I was reading the news report it brought a tear to my eye. I started listening to Edna's about 2 years ago. I quickly fell in love with their music. I always kept up on the band and would talk to Brian over the Internet and hang out with him at shows. Edna's is truly one of my favorite bands and its so sad to see them go. This was not expected at all. With all of the rumors of bands breaking up I never expected to see Edna's name in there. However, on this day I am very sad to report the band has broken up. I would like to thank the band for putting on great shows, making fabulous CDs, and being a part of my life for 2 great years. Thank you Edna's Goldfish and good luck in your future endeavours."
