As pointed out by Pitchfork, Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! has responded to a product posting by high end fashion designer Topshop. The company was selling a leather jacket with Against Me!'s name/logo written prominently on the sleeve. The listed price was $700.00. Other bands/logos written on the jacket include Choking Victim, the The Vandals, Bouncing Souls, and others. Notably, the names/logos were stenciled or written on by Topshop, and were not official patches which were purchased and then sewn to the jacket for resale. (In the United States, this can have legal significance).

On Twitter, Grace stated, "Hey @Topshop, you're selling a $700 leather jacket with my bands name on it and you have no permission. Not cool." She later stated, "“‘Against Me!’ is a trademark that I in fact legally own.” Topshop eventually responded, "@LauraJaneGrace Hi there, we're looking into this. We have removed the jacket from our website & are currently withdrawing from stores.." As of now, Topshop has taken the online listing for the product down.
