Pixies have released a statement via social media channels that guitarist Joey Santiago will be entering rehab for a minimum of thirty days to treat alcohol and drug issues. The band addresses their upcoming UK and Europe tour this coming November and December, and hopes to be able to perform all scheduled dates. The Pixies' new album, Head Carrier is due out at the end of the month.
