As a companion piece to the upcoming documentary of the same name, Finding Joseph I: An Oral History of H.R. from Bad Brains , a biography chronicling the life and times of singer Paul “H.R.†Hudson, has been scheduled for release on January 17, 2017. Co-authored by Howie Abrams and James Lathos, the biography features interviews with H.R. and Bad Brains, as well as Ian MacKaye, The Roots, and more, and is to be released through Lesser Gods Books. Bad Brains are currently nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
