According to a post from Dead Kennedys guitarist East Bay Ray's official Facebook page, the organizers of Riot Fest offered the band to perform at this year's Riot Fest Chicago. According to Ray, he wanted to do this show, but original frontman Jello Biafra declined the offer. East Bay Ray's post said, "Dead Kennedys had a sincere offer to play a reunion show at Riot Fest in Chicago this fall. Jello Biafra turned it down. Klaus Flouride, DH Peligro and I were looking forward to doing it." Alternative Tentacles, Biafra's record label declined to comment on the situation. Biafra last released White People and the Damage Done with his band The Guantanamo School of Medicine. East Bay Ray last released East Bay Ray and the Killer Smiles .
