Well I thought this was really cool and exclusive… then it showed up in the new issue of Rolling Stone. Oh well. While the Libertines were on their recent US tour they set up shop in the infamous Chelsea Hotel in NYC to record some demos. The band tracked over 40 new songs in what has been dubbed `the Babyshambles Sessions', then gave the recordings to a friend. That friend has put a lot of the material online at Babyshambles.org. Check them out for a preview of some new material as well as a few covers of The Clash, Coral and the Moldy Peaches. Adam Green of the Moldy Peaches lends his vocals to the Libertines' debut single "What A Waster" in one of the recordings.
