Today, Punknews is pleased to debut the new film by Equators!
"Gigantic Waves, I'm Not Here" is a 40 minute film set to the sound track of their new album of the same name. The band takes their gauzy, abstract music and sets it to a series of Zen-like images. The effect is that as you follow along the film, studying the drifting images, you may begin to look inward as much as you follow the screen. In a way, the film is a audio-viual rorschach test. Frankly, it's a daring feat and it's surprising to see such an amorphous project work so effectively.
