The release date for next album from intergalactic scumdogs GWAR has been announced. The Blood of Gods, the first GWAR album since the death of frontman Oderus Urungus/Dave Brockie, will drop October 20th via Metal Blade Records.

A bittersweet announcement, to be sure, but since former-Beefcake Mike Bishop has returned to the band as Blothar on lead vocals, the band has refocused and has been playing a series of well-received gigs. GWAR's most recent release was 2013's Battle Maximus
