Here's a bit of a fun little story. Tegan And Sara just wrapped up their Con X tour where they were playing an acoustic version of the Con album in full, as well as a few other songs. At their Austin show, Tegan Quinn lost her voice prior to the performance. So, instead of canceling the show, the sisters had 1200 songbooks printed up and distributed to the audience before the show. Then, during the show, Sara Quinn handled Tegan's vocals on songs where Tegan had main vocals. On songs where both sisters had significant parts, the audience sang Tegan's parts accompanied by Sara and supplemented by Gabriel McNair. The sisters' last studio album was Love You to Death in 2016.
