Today, Punknews is pleased to debut the new video by Soft People.
"Berenstein" is a mind trip, baby. The video opens with the duo playing in an abandoned movie theater under a stream of pulsating strobe lights. From there, things get more and more fractured with a patining coming to life, a 17th century French actress appearing out of the void, and the whole thing just boiling into a psychedelic strew. The music is fittingly trippy- the band takes cues from the Beatles and Flaming Lips, but puts a decidedly dark, haunting spin on the LSD-good-times bend.
The track is off their new album American Men out now. Pick that up here and check out the video below, right now.
