Here's some good news. Toni Iommi of Black Sabbath currently has a pretty good bill of health. In 2012, he was diagnosed with cancer, and underwent treatment during the recording of the final Black Sabbath studio album, 13. About a year ago, he stated that he was in remission but still receiving regular check ups. Recently, Iommi told Guitar World that "healthwise, I seem to be all right for the moment. It's still in remission. I continue to have my regular checkup every six weeks, and it's a bit easier for me now that I'm not touring. The doctors were concerned about all the flying I was doing, because it isn't good for the blood. But I'm on top of it, and I'm eating the right thingsā¦ although sometimes I still eat the wrong things." Black Sabbath recently released The End an album/documentary from the band's final show. 13 was released in 2013.
