Shannon Shaw of Shannon and The Clams and Hunx and His Punx has announced a solo debut album, to be released on June 8. The 13 track LP, title Shannon in Nashville will be released on Easy Eye Sound and will include 6 songs written by Shaw, with the remaining 7 co-wrote. When asked about the process, Shaw points to Evil Eye Sound owner Dan Auerbach for pushing her in the creative process, stating, "He gave me the golden ticket. He gave me this opportunity that I probably wouldn’t have been brave enough [to take otherwise].” While the album is not available until June 8, Shaw has released a video for Broke My Own, a song about breaking off a rebound relationship.
