"Asian Man Records has just announced that they have two new signings. The first is Just A Fire composed of ex- Sweep The Leg Johnny, Hoover, June of 44. Mike describes the band as sounding like the Clash (no way! that never happens) and will release an album this fall and tour. The second signing is Duvall which has members of the legendary Smoking Popes and Colossal. They released an EP earlier this summer on AM and have now signed on for a full length."

Duvall turned out one of my favourite tracks on the recent Jawbreaker tribute, and based on that and the previously released EP, I am certain the full length will rock. Asian Man has the release for that set for November, with Just A Fire out in October.
