us that Billboard is reporting that by Christmas of this year, American Recordings / Lost Highway will release a Johnny Cash box set titled Unearthed. This 5-disk, 100+ track project collects material from Cash's past 10 years of recordings with Rick Rubin (released as the four American Recordings releases).

A number of duets and covers will be included. Expected are his collaboration with Clash frontman Joe Strummer on Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" and his take on 50s tune "Cindy Cindy" with Nick Cave. The set will include four entire CDs of previously unreleased material with the fifth a "greatest hits" of the American sessions.
