This comes from the great Aversion.com August 5th. The world of package tours doesn't always run so smoothly, as an altercation between Hatebreed and show security at a recent Tattoo the Earth stop showed. According to a spokesman at Victory Records, Hatebreed's label, the band mixed it up with security at its Somerset, Wis., date when members of the security force pulled Slipknot's drummer, Shawn Crahan, from a moving golf cart in an attempt to subdue the driver. Hatebreed's members quickly jumped into the fray, citing their long allegiance to Slipknot, who helped the band to secure its spot on the Tattoo tour. While accounts given vary, all parties agree Crahan, who was riding unmasked, was pulled from the cart onto the ground by security agents who did not recognize his identity; some claim security forces went so far as to handcuff the drummer, though security accounts deny this charge. Following the melee, both members of Hatebreed as well as the hired-on security force filled police reports, though no charges have yet to be filed by either party. Contrary to popular rumor, Hatebreed hasn't pulled from the tour following the incident. Not a shocker….
