Maura Weaver and Maryam Hassan have launched a new musical project. It's called "Crawfathers" and the duo plan to release covers of songs that are typically castigated by the music elite. The project lists the following acts as influences: "Avril Lavigne, The Calling, 4 Non Blondes, My Chemical Romance, Nickelback" and describe themselves thusly: "One day on a stoop in Chicago, Maura Weaver learned at acoustic version of How You Remind Me and Maryam and Maura sang it together for all of Avondale. They were told to be quiet. They didn't listen. Now they are here to cover every song and liberate all." we'll let you know when they release new material.
